A Moline man is found dead in his flooded basement and officials say he was electrocuted.
It happened yesterday morning. First responders say 64-year old Michael Henderson's niece found his body when she noticed he hadn't left for work.
Authorities say it looks like the man was attempting to switch out his old sump pump for a new one and officials say Henderson may have believed he turned off the breakers before doing so.
"Absolute devastation," RICO coroner Brian Gustafson said. "This is the furthest thing that they could imagine in their minds. This is a tragic situation for anyone let alone having to find."
