New predictions show we shouldn't expect a lot of flooding this spring but city leaders say they aren't taking any chances.
Flood forecast models show moderate flooding on the Rock and elevated levels along the Mississippi. It's something Davenport's public works director says his crews are watching and preparing for and business owners say they are, too.
"We've learned the river, you know, can do what it wants," Front Street Brewery GM Jennie Ash said.
Ash says back in 1992, the rising river shut her restaurant down.
This year, it's expected to reach just above 15 feet which city leaders say is manageable, impacting LeClaire Park and parts of South Concord.
