Reward Offered in Burglary Investigations

Carroll County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in connection with three burglaries.

The first burglary occurred at Satin 'N Lace on Main Avenue in Milledgeville, Illinois, sometime between 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 13, and 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 14.

Authorities say unknown subjects forced entry into the building and took off with cash.

The Milledgeville Police Department is investigating.

Meanwhile, the Lanark Police Department is investigating two burglaries that occurred during the overnight hours of Saturday, December 14.

The Lanark City Hall and the Lanark Ag Center on North Boyd Street were both hit.

As with the burglary in Milledgeville, the suspect or suspects forced entry and took off with cash from both Lanark buildings.
