Officials Expect ISAT Drop

Educators in Illinois will know how well students are doing when the state releases the report cards.
     
The "report cards" assess each school's performance on the Illinois Standards Achievement Test last school year.

Officials say they expect a decline in test scores, but not because students' performance actually fell. It's more so because of the board's decision to toughen the grading scale for grade schools so it matches the scale used by high schools.
