One piece of evidence is helping Davenport police investigate several burglaries in a neighborhood.

Surveillance video from a neighbor's camera caught two people suspected of breaking into unlocked garages. One happened near the 3000 block of Grand Avenue.

Police say 4 others have been hit within a 12-block radius over the past month. The suspects are accused of rummaging through cars in the garages and taking hundreds of dollars worth of items.

One neighbors says it's disappointing to see this happen.

"It's really unfortunate they think they need to steal from other people, other people are hard working Americans, they work here," said Matt Wakeen.

Police ask that if anyone has information regarding the burglaries or the suspects in the surveillance video to contact them.
