- Leading SaaS provider sponsors award program and research focused on the current state of candidate recruitment experience at various organizations -
MATAWAN, N.J., Sept. 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- In recent years, the candidate experience has become a movement within the talent acquisition space. It is no longer solely about the recruiter and their work objects, but also about the experience a candidate has during the application and overall recruitment process. To shed light on the ever-growing movement, iCIMS, Inc., a leading provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) talent acquisition software solutions for growing businesses, announces their silver sponsorship of Talent Board's third annual North American Candidate Experience Awards.
"We are thrilled to be sponsoring an award that recognizes a topic that we are so passionate about, the candidate experience," said iCIMS Chief Marketing Officer, Susan Vitale. "At iCIMS, we believe job seekers should have a positive experience each step of the way. It is important for recruiters, as well as talent acquisition solution providers, to know what candidates think about the process and what they identify as areas for improvement. For many candidates, it is about making the entire application process social- and mobile- friendly."
The Candidate Experience Awards (known as "The CandE Awards") are designed to provide every participating organization with feedback on how they can improve their candidate experience. The award program consists of three survey rounds that are designed to evaluate and recognize organizations that produce outstanding candidate experiences. CandE Award winners will be recognized at the 2013 HR Technology Conference in Las Vegas.
"The Candidate Experience Awards offer significant insight and information into the state of recruiting and the candidate experience year after year," Elaine Orler, Talent Board co-founder and chairman, and president of Talent Function Group, noted. "Given the recent flurry of activity we've seen as more and more employers move to embrace modern recruiting methods including referral programs, talent communities, social mobile platforms, Talent Board anticipates that the 2013 CandE Awards will show increased innovation and improvement among participating employers."
iCIMS will be releasing the latest version of its Talent Platform- 13.2, which offers candidates a full social and mobile application process from start to finish. The new release offers externally-facing career portals, talent Connect portals as well as social recruitment portals that are mobile-optimized with responsive design, allowing candidates to browse, search, and apply for jobs from any mobile device including tablets and smart phones. Once a candidate finds the perfect job, he or she can apply using a Social Profile login (LinkedIn, Facebook, or Google+) or upload a traditional resume from Dropbox and Google Drive directly on the device from which they found the job.
"There are several trends within HR software that come and go, but improving candidate experience is something that is essential to source, recruit, and hire effectively," said Vitale. "The user experience is something that iCIMS takes very seriously and will continue to focus on in all future upgrades of our software."
