A local organization that's been protesting against the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan for the last eight years gathered Saturday for the last time.
The "Progressive Action for the Common Good Peace Forum" has held peace vigils every Saturday in Moline.
The group encourages drivers as they pass by to honk for peace.
But, members say they won't be around anymore because the war is winding down.
The vigil's organizer says there's only one thing that will get members back to volunteering:
"If we were going to war with Syria, we'd be here," Caryn Unsicker said.
"We're not that tired," she added.
The group has gathered every weekend at the corner of 16th and John Deere Road in Moline since 2005.
