Sunday brought some beautiful weather to be out and about in the Quad Cities, especially for the crowds of car fans who turned out for a car show at the Davenport Hooters for a good cause.
More than 240 cars of all makes and models were on display, and hundreds of volunteers were helping out with the event, which was a benefit for the Children's Therapy Center.
"Every penny that we raise here goes for therapy for young children with disabilities right here in our Quad Cities Area," George McDoniel, executive director of the Children's Therapy Center, said.
Last year's car show raised $11,000 for the organization, and this year they were hoping to do even better.
Fox 18 is a proud sponsor of this event.
