We had some perfect weather Sunday to head outside for a picnic,or better yet, a potluck in the park.
The group "A Side of Kindness" hosted one of the biggest potlucks the QCA has ever seen in Lafayette Park in Davenport Sunday.
Local residents were asked to bring as many dishes as possible to share with homeless or under-privileged families in the area.
They were attempting to set a record for the world's largest pot luck.
Casper, Wyoming holds that record - at 863 dishes.
This weekend's event came close, with nearly 750 dishes brought to the park.
But, organizers say the attempt was still a win, because they were giving back to the community through food.
