Posted: Updated:

Many Quad Citians stood in line for hours today for a chance to the see the President Wednesday at Knox College in Galesburg.

More than 500 tickets were given out and all of them are now gone.

The line extended around the block and many had to get there six hours before distribution to guarantee a spot. Organizers handed out orange numbers to every person to a mark their position in line.

The number one ticket holder arrived at 7 a.m. Everyone we spoke to said they're excited to hear the President speak and they have specific issues they hope he covers.
