Clinton County Sheriff's Office Still Looking for One Escaped Jail Inmate

Posted: Updated:

18-year-old Kyle Julian remains at large after escaping from the Clinton County Jail on Saturday.

He was one of two men to escape at that time. Both got away while they were being brought inside from a small outdoor recreation area at the jail.

The other man, 18-year-old Kendrell Keith, was taken into custody by the Clinton County Sheriff's Office late Saturday night in the 1500 block of Camanche Avenue. He was captured after officers searched the neighborhoods surrounding the jail and followed up on phone leads.

Keith is being held on a $5,000 cash-only bond.

Meanwhile, officials are asking for your help to bring the remaining escapee back in, and they're offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to Kyle Julian's capture and arrest.

Julian is described by police as a dark skinned male, 5'9", 175 pounds, with green eyes. He was being held for Probation Violation, a Class D Felony.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the Clinton County Sheriff's Office at 563-242-9211 or call 9-1-1. Individuals wishing to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 563-242-6595 or toll free 888-883-8015.
