Paper money, gold, and silver on display - coin collectors converged in Milan Sunday for the Quad Cities Coin Club's annual Spring Show.
The event attracted collectors for nearly 80 tables of exhibitors, showing off money from the U.S. and around the world.
Kids even had a chance to select coins for a world treasure chest.
Organizers say there are a lot of different reasons people get into coin collecting.
"History. I like the fact that you could be holding the coin a hundred, two hundred, even a thousand years old," said John Brixey, a member of the Quad Cities Coin Club.
Dealers and visitors come from all over the region to take part in the show.
