A new yogurt shop in Bettendorf is serving up more than just tasty treats.
Yourtopia opened this week in the Crow Ridge Plaza on 53rd Street, and owners are donating 100 percent of sales in the first week to the group 'QC Kids Against Hunger'.
The organization packages food to send to starving children in countries around the world.
Yourtopia's owners say it's all about giving back to the community.
"We want to find something that's meaningful to us and Kids Against Hunger is something that's deeply in our hearts and is really meaningful to us because we were one of those kids," Kody Bui, Yourtopia Co-Owner.
Yourtopia will be donating the profits from all of its sales until Wednesday. But it won't stop there.
The owners tells us they'd like to do something similar every year.
And, he says, interested non-profits can work with him on fundraisers anytime. The shop will donate ten percent of all sales to that organization.
