Iowa drivers may soon be forced to pay a little more at the pump. That is if some state lawmakers get their way.
They are once again expected to introduce legislation to increase the state's fuel tax, and government leaders think the bill would stand a pretty good chance.
Similar legislation to raise the tax by 10 cents failed in the legislature last year.
Iowa's fuel tax is 22 cents a gallon right now.
It hasn't been raised since 1989.
