Quad City Students Chat with Astronauts

Some Quad City students had an out of this world experience today.

They chatted live with two American astronauts on the International Space Station.

The Putnam Museum is one of six sites across the country chosen to speak with the astronauts.

250 students from Davenport, Moline, Buffalo and Rock Island schools attended and 20 of them asked the astronauts questions.

The kids wanted to know about what it's like to lift off,  how the earth looks from space, what astronauts do while on the station and the students favorite part was seeing the astronauts float.
