Nicholas Sheley is sentenced to life in prison for a second time Wednesday. He was found guilty in Whiteside County, Illinois for the murder of 93-year-old Russell Reed.
Before sentencing, two family members presented statements to Nicholas Sheley in court. Sheley also received 30 years for home invasion and 15 years for burglary.
He is already serving a life sentence for the murder of a Galesburg man. Additionally, Sheley is charged with killing four Rock Falls residents. That trial is set to begin on June 3rd.
