
Despite the heavy snowfall last Thursday, holiday travel appears to be running smoothly. A look at the I80 bridge near Savanna will show you that the major interstates in the area are clean and dry.
While holiday plans will not have to be put on hold this year, evidence of the storm can still be found west of the Quad Cities.
According to the Iowa Department of Transportation, road conditions on all major roadways is either normal or wet.
Illinois reports that some interstates in the western and northern parts of the state have patches of ice or snow on them, but the majority of roads are clear.
