A big year in real estate slightly slowed down last month, but the numbers are still well ahead of last year's pace.
About 2,700 homes were sold last month in the state of Iowa. That's compared to just less than 2,500 homes sold in November 2011. Realtors are also reporting that homes are selling faster and at higher prices.
Realtors are cautiously optimistic for 2013, and Iowa Realty says they're keeping a close eye on the economy and the pending fiscal cliff.
