
The Moline School District says it's about budgets, the bottom line, and that it needs to save $600,000. But some students say it's about their future careers and losing classes, and that a dozen staff members is too high of a price to pay.
The school board voted earlier this week to modify the high school schedule: all students will take 6 courses, and the 7th course will be dedicated to electives. but many students take more than just 1 elective, which means they now have to make some tough choices.
