
While it wasn't quite as cold as it normally is this time of year, it definitely looked a whole lot like winter at community events across the Quad Cities.
They weren't complaining at the Family Museum in Bettendorf where they held their annual WinterFest celebration. There was live music, holiday-themed activities, Christmas displays, and a visit from Santa.
Across the river, the Hauberg Civic Center in Rock Island opened its doors to the community for Winter in Bloom. There was caroling, snacks, and kids' activities including weaving demonstrations.
The Josh Duffy Quartet played at the Sunday Jazz Brunch at the Blackhawk Hotel in Davenport. There was music, dining, and a Toys for Tots drop-off.
