Tens of thousands of people who live near six nuclear power plants in Illinois are about to get a lesson in popping pills.

Emergency managers say they'll be sending out vouchers for free potassium iodide tablets in case of a disaster.  Of course, one of those plants is just outside the Quad Cities.
