Demolition Begins for New Bridge - FOX 18 - Quad Cities News and Weather

It's a project the city of Bettendorf says it has planned for since 1996. Bettendorf is trying to set aside funding for a new I-74 bridge with the help of the Iowa Department of Transportation. the city is reassuring citizens that the funding is still there.  The DOT has already started to knock down some of the buildings nearby to prepare for construction.
