
It may be a sign of the times, but it's still tragic. 15 horses are now being nursed back to health. Roger Schone says he found the stallions at a Rock Island County farm starving to the point they were skin and bones.
The animals are now being fed hay, regaining their strength, and are up for adoption.
Investigators are still considering whether to press charges against the former owner.
