It has taken forever to bring even a glimmer of hope to the prison in Thomson, IL that's essentially sat empty for 11 years. It's left business owners and some of the people who live nearby bitter, feeling they have suffered through a decade of lies. Now, it at least appears jobs and a boost for the economy are finally on the way.
