
New details are out concerning a shooting that happened yesterday afternoon in Rock Island.
Rock Island Police tried to serve a warrant to a suspect, who ran from them. The chase ended when the man, according to police, was shot in the groin. Crime scene investigators with the Illinois State Police have taken both the suspect's and the police officers' guns as evidence.
The suspect was taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
