Davenport House Fire - FOX 18 - Quad Cities News and Weather

Investigators in Davenport are looking into what could have started a house fire.

It happened at about 5:00 on Tremont Avenue.  When crews arrived, they saw heavy smoke and flames coming from the back of the home.  They were able to get the fire under control quickly, and were also able to save another home that the fire had spread to.

Everyone made it out of both homes safely, and no one was injured.  The Red Cross is now assisting the families with supplies.
