The Great Iowa Treasure Hunt

It's not your average treasure hunt.

But Quad Citians were uncovering some types of treasure Wednesday night as part of the Great Iowa Treasure Hunt.

The state of Iowa is working to return millions of dollars in cash and family heirlooms to their rightful owners. The people may be unaware that the money or items are theirs.

But get this...some people thing the calls and mailings are scams.
