QC Students Pack Boxes for Deployed Troops

Some Quad City students took time Tuesday to think of others on Valentine's. 

Julie Bauer's class at John F. Kennedy Catholic School in Davenport, took part in the Jason's Box Packaging Project-- preparing packages to send to U.S. troops serving in Afghanistan. 

They gathered in the school's cafeteria to pack boxes alongside current and former members of the military, who shared how much the care packages mean to the troops.
