Braley, Loebsack Talk with Obama aboard Airforce One

Iowa Congressman Bruce Braley was in the Quad City area Thursday to talk about the challenges of getting a college education. 

During his open discussion with students at St. Ambrose University, the Iowa Congressman told FOX 18 that he and fellow Iowa Congressman Dave Loebsack had the opportunity to talk to the President Barack Obama aboard Airforce One on his way to Cedar Rapids Wednesday about the importance of manufacturing to the state of Iowa.

Braley said he is traveling across eastern Iowa to listen to students and educators about the challenges and to hear their suggestions for how to address them.
