Iowa Car Sales Back to Pre-Recession Levels

Auto experts say 2011 sales numbers are showing some serious gains. The number of new car registrations in Iowa is now on pace with the number of registrations back in 2007, before the recession hit. 

Salesmen say it is a combination of increased bank lending, more fuel efficient cars, and a small number of available used cars that has many people shopping for a new ride.
